“Native Detroiters are literally ready to rip our door off the hinges,” said Lou Goldhaber, co-owner of the Chicago Leo’s Coney Island. “It’s a total built-in customer base.”
This is funny/sad. So many michiganders out of michigan! We should just all be at home.
i ate at the new leo’s in chicago yesterday. i was super pumped to go, because it’s probably been two years since i’ve eaten there. the menu is the same, but they make the servers wear hilarious aprons and red polos. we tried to go around 1:30 and there was a line around the block. kind of strange to eat a chicken finger pita and greek salad outside of the homeland.
